Christian Meyer Ross was a Norwegian Academic artist who died in 1904 at the age of 61. 

In his painting, In the Sculptor’s Studio, Ross captures the intensity of the sculptor’s work and is a beautiful representation of the passion and intensity which yields work of a divine nature. The original painting is in a private collection.
